THE SYMMETRY MODIFIER

There are many simmetric objects to model (a body can be an example).

We can divide the "inicial" paralelogram and "add" the modifier Symmetry to the new object. When we create something in the "half" we are working, the same thing will be build in the symmetric part.

Lets go to make an exercice - the final of our webcourse.

We have the object of the figure:

After convert to Editable Poly etc., we select all the polygons of left and press "Delete" in the keyboard.Appears a popup window asking: "Delete isolated vertices?". Answer: Yes .

In the Modifier List select: Symmetry. The object disappears! In the Parameters rollout tick: Flip. The 2 parts of the object will appear. But if you choose: Editable Poly, will appear only the "half" to work.

We can alternate from Editable Poly to Symmetry looking the results of the modeling.
