The Internet, now on its phase Web 2.0, is about groups of people having the same interests, talking and presenting their opinions in blogs, also presenting their photos, music and videos. And now it's about 3D spaces where people can meet one with others, represented by their avatares, to chat.

SecondLife began this revolution. But SecondLife is not cheap and is not easy to construct anything (you can buy objects... money to spend!). And you need to download more than 30 Mb at each update (and there are MANY updates...)

Now there are SGAG. It's FREE! And you can create 3D environments without any dificulty.

An SGAG environment appears inside a webpage. But you don't need to have (and pay for) a web-hoster to host your SGAG gallery. You can use Blogger (free). SGAG can be a Blogger template.

SGAG don't try to replace blogs, sites etc. It presents show-rooms, galleries, having your selected posts, images, videos or musics. Everybody can read and see the posts, videos etc. inside the 3D environment, but can also go to their "sources" at Blogger, Flickr or YouTube , for more details and to make a comentary to be readed later.

You need to experiment SGAG to understand it better!

There are many levels for SGAG users depending of their capacities. The first level is: to be a Visitor. The visitor doesn't create any gallery; he only visits the available. You are going to be a Visitor, but we hope that soon you will go to the other levels:

• Beginner;
• Newbie;
• Installer;
• Constructor and
• Wizard

So: now you are going to be a Visitor.To visit SGAG galleries you need to download a free plugin (6 Mb) for Internet Explorer.

But first, verify if you have the requirements:

• Intel Pentium 4 1.2Ghz or higher
• At least 256KB RAM, 1GB recommended
• Windows XP 32Bit (Service Pack 2 or higher)
• Internet Explorer 6.x or higher
• Graphics Card having 32 Mb that supports DirectX 9.0
• DirectX 9.0 or higher
• Broadband (ADSL or cable) with 256 Kbps or higher (1 Mbps for good video - YouTube - presentation)
• Flash plugin
• Your Internet Explorer needs to accept "cookies" and JavaScript (usual).

The Flash plugin can be downloaded free. Use Google to find the versions for the language of your system.
