BEEING AN INSTALLER

An "Sgag Installer" will learn how to use "Gallery Templates", that are pre-created SGAG Galleries that you can copy and customize.

To install a "Gallery Template" into your "SGAG Template" (that is at your blog), is easy.

There are this area in the "SGAG Template:

Each "Gallery Template" we present at:

has a group of lines representing the "SGAG objects" (walls, floors, browsers, "links" etc.) that are inside the 3D environment.

By example, look this 3D environment we have visit at:

We have here five "SGAG objects":

a tetrabase (a type of floor);
an hexabase (another type of floor);
a column (the name "column" can also designate a plaque having a logo, like here);
a browser (we have worked very much with browsers...)
and a "link" (it's the litle cube to be clicked).

The group of lines that represents the gallery of this evironment is:

To have a copy of this environment (like it is) at YOUR blog, you need to put this lines replacing the equivalents in the "SGAG Template" you have at your blog. You can try it, now, if you like...

Have tested and seeing the original gallery of the "Gallery Template", you can change many things to customize it.

Lets go to analise the easier first:

The two lines that define the two floors are:

You can change the colors of them replacing the names LightRed and Yellow by that you can find at:

Don't change the numeric values! You will do it when you are an SGAG Constructor.

The plaque is the object:

It has the address of an image that is a logo. You have learned how to create logos at this lesson. You can create a new logo and replace that of the plaque, replacing this address by that of a new image you need to upload to Flickr.

The SGAG browser is represented by:

You have also learned how to replace the content of browsers at the "SGAG Default Gallery". Here is similar. Lets go, step by step:

1 - You need to replace "youtube" by:

blogger, if you will present a post of a blog at the browser;
flickr, if you will present a photo from Flickr
mp3, if you will present a music clip.

2 - Replace "http://myopinionafdj.blogspot.com/2007/09/sinatra-jobim.html" by the address of your post, or photo or music clip or another post having video (at this case, in the previous step remains the type: "youtube").

3 - Replace the message: "To go to the post at Blogger, click the pink little cube over the panel." by the message you like.

For the "SGAG object" that is a "link" (the little cube) , we have:

IMPORTANT TIP: If you put the video AND A TEXT at the same post of a blog, you need to define the blog to present only one post at the main page. Because, if you have many videos at the main page, they will all start together and there will be a disgusting mix of sounds.

You can change here the color, the address linked and the message that appears at a "mouseover".

Every "Gallery Template" you will find here at our inventory has a similar structure: some "SGAG objects" where you can change some values".

Our recomendation is: first, copy and replace, at your "SGAG Template", the part of the "Gallery Template" presented at each template. Test to see if it appears OK. At a second moment, replace the values by that you like more.
