After to have learned the lessons about how to be an SGAG Visitor you will now learn the next step: how to be an SGAG Beginner.
Imagine that you can create a copy of the Louvre Museum in New York. The same building, the same paintings, the same sculptures, the same temporary exibitions.
The difference between these two museuns will be: the visitors of the Paris Louvre will be not the same of that of the NY Louvre!
A similar thing is what an SGAG Beginner does. You will learn how to create at YOUR blog (at Blogger) a copy of the "SGAG Default Gallery" you have visited at the end of the previous course.
Your visitors will be not the same of the official Default Gallery. But the temporary exibitions that SGAG promotes, will appear at YOUR copy of the gallery.
How can you create this 'clone" of the gallery? Let's go, step by step.
Step 1 - Go to the Blogger site and follow the easy instructions for creation of a Google account. Your email address will be used. You need to define a password that you will use for posts and creation of SGAG galleries.
Step 2 - Name your first blog. Can be "SGAG1", by example, or any name you like. The web address will be the address of your SGAG gallery.
Step 3 - Choose a template. Can be any because we will change it later.
Step 4 - Your blog will be created. You need to do a "post". You can write anything because nothing will appear (but it's required).
Step 5 - Click "Template" (look the previous figure) and "Edit HTML" .
Step 6 - Click to "Revert to Classic Template":
Step 7 - Copy and paste the HTML lines below (we call this "the SGAG Template") inside the adequate area, replacing the existents. You do NOT need to understand noone of these lines of code!!! Only copy and paste!!!

Like we said, you, beeing a Begginner, don't need to understand nothing about these lines of code. You only need to find and change the parameter (in red) ROOM_NAME. It needs to be unique. You can use, by example the first letters of your name plus a number (ex: jfk001, fdl227, jb007).
And click the "Save Template Changes" button.
IMPORTANT TIP : Verify if you don't have broken lines in the area of the SGAG Script! Each active line begins with an apostrophe (') or double slashes (//) and ends with a signal of plus (+).
It's only this. You have an SGAG gallery now! You or anybody can go to this blog (it's an webpage) and enter inside your copy of the "SGAG Default Gallery" . Your friend will meet other friends and can chat.
But, before to see the gallery, anyone needs to download and install the plugin ( that can be downloaded/executed from :
If you don't change the parameter ROOM_NAME, everybody going to the official SGAG Default Gallery will appear at your copy of it.
You can create many blogs in Blogger using the same email address and password.
