Imagine a 3D art gallery where the internaut can walk and look to the painting in the walls. If he needs more information, he clicks the painting and a new web page will have the details.

And bettter:he can talk to other visitors about the paintings, the artist or another related subjects.

He can also talk to a salesman if he likes to buy a painting.

Or talk to the artist in some period of the day about his work...

This is not a dream :-)

To create a chat area in our 3dD worlds is very easy. In the Macromedia page about Director Multiuser Server we find a tutorial that teachs how to do it in five minuts!!!

To play the demo you can talk with someone that is visiting this page in this moment or to open another page with the same URL and talk to yourself ! (Talk to yourself is the beginning of madness :-)

Type a new name and click the button for connection. Type your message in the chat enter field and click Enter to send it.

This demo uses a public Macromedia server. If the chat doesn't work, sorry.
